A passenger aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing in India after a power bank reportedly caught fire mid-air.
Dramatic footage shows flames in an overhead compartment as cabin crew on an IndiGo flight try to put it out, while frightened passengers scream.
The Airbus A321 was travelling from Delhi to Chennai on 11 October when the fire broke out.
Flight 6E 6115 was then diverted to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad as a precaution after smoke began coming from a passenger’s personal electronic device.
Authorities confirmed that the aircraft landed safely. No injuries or casualties were reported.
