Big Brother Naija housemates Martins Iyeh and Ijeoma “Mercedes” Emi have been evicted from the ongoing reality show.
Martins became the first housemate to leave the competition after recording the lowest number of votes in the first round of the eviction process during Sunday’s live show.
Shortly after Martins’ eviction, Mercedes was announced as the second housemate to be evicted from the “Show Ya Self” season.
The two exits reduce the number of housemates from 24 to 22 as the remaining contestants continue their battle for the ₦160 million grand prize.
Martins’ eviction came on his birthday, making the announcement an emotional moment for the creative director and model, who hails from Kogi State.
Mercedes, a 28-year-old self-employed performance artist and massage therapist from Delta State, also leaves the competition after two weeks in the Big Brother house.
