Sheffield United midfielder Oliver Arblaster has announced he is set to become a father with Martha Elizabeth Wilder, the daughter of his coach Chris Wilder.
The 22-year-old midfielder shared the good news as his partner announced the pregnancy on social media.
Martha posted a series of photos, including ultrasound images and pictures of her baby bump, alongside the caption “+1” with a white heart emoji, confirming the couple are expecting their first child.
Teammates and close friends also sent their congratulations, marking the moment amid a pivotal phase in Arblaster’s career.
On the field, the midfielder has featured in 18 matches this season after returning from injury, playing a key role in Sheffield United’s resurgence following a challenging start to the campaign.
