Rapper, Cardi B traded sharp words with the United States Department of Homeland Security on X after voicing her opposition to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
The exchange followed the opening night of her “Little Miss Drama” tour in Coachella Valley on Wednesday, Feb. 11. While performing at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, the rapper told the crowd that concertgoers would confront any ICE agents who showed up at her shows.
“I got some bear mace in the back. It’s like the mafia in this,” she said in a moment captured on video and later shared online.
The Department of Homeland Security responded the following day on X, referencing a resurfaced 2019 Instagram livestream in which Cardi B admitted to previously drugging and robbing clients while working as a stripper.
“As long as she doesn’t drug and rob our agents, we’ll consider that an improvement over her past behavior,” the department wrote in a post on Thursday, Feb. 12.
The online spat quickly gained traction, drawing strong reactions from supporters and critics on both sides.
