Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Wednesday hosted popular American streamer and internet personality, Kai Cenat, at the Lagos House, Marina.
The governor’s Senior Special Assistant on New Media, Jubril A. Gawat, confirmed the visit in a post shared on X, stating that Cenat paid a courtesy visit to the governor during his ongoing stay in Lagos. According to Gawat, the globally recognised content creator shared his experiences in the state and discussed his growing interest in youth-focused development initiatives.
Gawat revealed that Cenat, who is visiting Lagos for the second time, is in the state to advance plans for projects and initiatives targeted at children and young people. The American streamer is exploring ways to contribute positively to youth engagement and empowerment in Lagos State.
Kai Cenat ranks among the most-followed streamers worldwide and has built a massive global following through his live-streamed content on platforms such as Twitch and YouTube, where he remains especially influential among young audiences.
